Terms of Service

1. About Clinch

Clinch ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service quoting tool for UK tradespeople, operated by Robarts Fox Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The service is available at getclinched.com. By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clinch. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at hello@getclinched.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

3. What Clinch provides

Clinch provides tools to create, send, and manage job quotes. Any quotes generated by AI are suggestions only — you are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and taking legal and financial responsibility for any quotes you send to customers. Robarts Fox Ltd is not liable for pricing errors, contract disputes, or losses arising from quotes created using the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clinch to:

• Send spam, unsolicited communications, or misleading quotes
• Impersonate another person or business
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service
• Violate any applicable UK law or regulation

5. Your data

You own the data you upload to Clinch (customer details, quotes, logos). Robarts Fox Ltd processes it only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Payment and billing

Billing is handled securely via Stripe on behalf of Robarts Fox Ltd. Subscription fees are charged in advance. You can cancel at any time; you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, update, or temporarily suspend the service at any time. Robarts Fox Ltd will not be liable for losses caused by service downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robarts Fox Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time via Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email or in-app notice before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
